As the holidays approach, I am reminded of Eartha Kitt's famous rendition of "Santa Baby", a rather ambitious Christmas list that included a duplex and checks. One particularly expensive item had me thinking, theoretically. "Santa baby, one little thing I really need / The deed to a platinum mine". This sticks out because that is more of an investment than an expensive bauble.
