We had trouble reading the tea leaves a few months back. We thought Kamala Harris would become president, mostly because of the press. We had a hard time accepting this from an intellectual point of view, as the only way people showed up to her rallies was the promise of a pop-rock concert. But sleepy Joe Biden beat Trump, even though he never left the basement of one of his multimillion-dollar houses paid for by donors and taxpayers.
