Elon Musk reported over the weekend that the company hit its production goal of 5,000 Model 3 cars in a week. Not surprisingly, they did it the last week of June. They did not hit the mark in any other week during the quarter and this is consistent with our expectation. It was an "all men on deck" moment for the company. Anyone and everyone got involved to sprint as fast as possible to meet the goal. Overall, the company produced 53,339 cars in Q2-2018 which is an increase of 55% over Q1-2018.
