Verizon, the giant wireless carrier, reported earnings this morning. Given the premarket price action investors appear to be disappointed. The company did not show any growth in earnings which was consistent with our expectations. In addition, we do not expect much, if any, growth in profits in the next year or two. But once the markets opened, the stock traded higher, then quickly reversed lower. Investors are fickle.
