T-Mobile is a wireless phone carrier that competes head-to-head with ATT & Verizon. Of the large carriers, T-Mobile was always the third wheel because they were smaller, and their coverage was not very good in the US, even though it was pretty good outside the US. Nonetheless, they took on the giants and won. Good on ’em. After improving their product offering and taking market share, the next move was to get scale, so they could compete in the long run, so they merged with Sprint.
