As a little boy, I watched a western TV show produced from the late 1940s to the late 1950s, called "The Loan Ranger." His defining characteristics were that he wore a mask, and he fired silver bullets from his revolver. He was a good guy, with his sidekick "Tonto" out delivering justice in a dangerous world.
