The healthcare sector is highly regulated and controlled by the government. This government control makes it a political football, particularly at election time. Now that it looks like the election is as close to a tie as one can imagine, the prospect of significant changes to the healthcare systems looks small. We all know that the government has "fixed" the healthcare system about 50 times in the past 50 years. Judging by recent price action, investors seem to have concluded that it will not be "fixed" again anytime soon.
