Both Ford (F) reported earnings yesterday and Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) reported earnings 2 days ago. Ford moved on earning and Chipotle did not. However Chipotle shareholders got a surprise that took the share price down fairly hard. Seems the food safety issue is not behind the company. Fortunately for us, the price movements went in our direction in both cases, so we are taking a moment to share our thoughts on what to do (or not do) next.
