Back on 27-Feb-2019, we discussed the Chinese stock market. At that time, we went from neutral to bullish on Chinese equities. This was clearly a contrarian position as their stock market had been in a bearish trend since 2015. Furthermore, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was trading close to the 2009 lows and far away from its 2015 highs.
