Where are the Gold Bugs?

One of the most remarkable macroeconomic phenomenon in the market place today is the tremendous inflationary monetary policy manifested in quantitative easing and interest rate suppression. This has led to ridiculous inflation in assets prices. At the same time, consumer prices excluding healthcare and education remain tame.  Things like stocks and bonds are now so expensive that people are reluctant to speculate and buy into these markets.
