We are back in earnings season and we think this round of earnings reports will be revealing. Analysts seem to be all over the map and the sales slowdown by APPL is giving some ammunition to the bears. But the US economy, as measured by nominal GDP, probably grew at more than 5%, so the bulls have some ammunition as well.
