We have written a number of articles and suggested a number of trades on South African stocks over the past year or s0. The trading vehicles we prefer to use in this market has been EZA, the ETF that attempts to copy the performance on this important equity market. Our concerns in this market are macro in nature. We think the country has tremendous potential but the politics of the country is being swallowed by radical ideas that are nothing more than a carbon copy of what took place in Zimbabwe a few decades ago. The implication of these policies in our mind is quite clear.
