Bonds: The Forgotten Trade

Everyone seems to be down on the bond market these days. It seems that the universal truth about the future level of interest rates is higher. The consensus view of Fed action is that there are 2 more rate increases in the cards this year. The market expects the Fed to raise short-term rates in September and again just before the end of the year, With the economy growing nicely, conventional wisdom suggests that higher rates are just around the corner.
