Wayfair (W), Waymore or Wayless?

Wayfair Inc. (W) is an interesting company that has taken on a business model that is similar to Amazon and eBay at the same time. They are an online retailer of furniture and household goods. According to company statements, they offer over 8 million products offered by over 10 thousand suppliers. The company is a pure online retailer that offers its products on the wayfair.com, jossandmain.com, allplusmodern.com, dwell studio (allmodern.com) and birchlane.com branded websites. Wayfair does not have warehouses and inventory. It takes orders from customers and has the suppliers send the product either directly to the customer or Wayfair who then delivers the product. Like Amazon, the company has put growth before profits. In 2016, generated $3.4 billion in revenue but suffered a loss of $194 million or $2.29 per share. The company not made a profit since going public.
